RYENT Logo
RY? Why?
If what you're about to think is "Dude, you had 2 weeks to draw this logo and all you got done was the first 2 letters of the brand name? YOU'RE FIRED IM NOT PAYING FOR THIS YOU'RE THE WORST DESIGNER IN THE WORLD!"
You're right, kind of. At first glance this is a cool looking ligature of the letter R and Y (for RYENT of course) and you might be asking yourself "But where's the rest of the name?" Well, to be completely honest the mark doesn't even represent the name RYENT - it represents RYBAR. The most important part of this brand name.
Why? It's unique. It's you. When you look at other companies in this space what do you see? The same old tired obvious drone icons, cameras, and 90's inspired clip art. There's no way I'm letting this brand blend in with the rest. We're taking what makes Ryent, Ryent, and turning it into a bold and memorable brand mark.
Take a scroll, check out the mark, then check scroll some more to see how I arrived there. Then keep scrollin' for the other stuff.
The Brand Mark

What It means

(behind the scenes photo of me drawing this)

It comes in shield form?
Shields are too cool and too usable in this space to not include an alternate version of this logo that utilizes one. Just think of the stickers, patches, and hats you're going to have because of this. Also, there's a bit of thought behind it too.

Rounding out the main logo
We do need to include the actual brand name even though the mark looks cool on its own. Below is the full version of the logo which will be used most of the time. The type is bold, and usable on its own in places where you don't want to use the mark.

RYENT type on it's own

Closing notes
Color will follow shortly. I wanted to get your thoughts on the overall direction of this before I build out the rest. If you absolutely hate it, or want to see another direction, just let me know and I'll build out the other concept I had. Want to see changes? No problem. Detailed feedback is greatly appreciated so we can hammer out a logo you can use for 20+ years.
